Sneaker Fiends Unite*.....Olympic edition

Yes i have been glued to the T.V waiting to see the U.S.A basketball team do there thing against Yao Ming and crew. Today was the first day of Olympic basketball USA vs China what a great game, after being disappointed by the last few olympic teams(especially when Carols Arroyo and the Puerto Rican team put it on the USA and beat them by 19). Its been a long time coming(pause) for the USA team to put together a competitive team. Watching these kids play now is like playing NBA live and picking your own all star team. Melo, Lebron Kobe, Chris Paul, Bosh, Howard, Kidd, Wade, williams, boozer and the list goes on. China stayed with them for the first two quarters but after half time, the kids put on their capes and Supermanned them Ho's....So in the spirit of hip hop and hoops i present the first Sneaker fiends United edition.

So i was at my uptown spot Vault yesterday and i picked up these jordan mash with the AF1. This is a slick boutique spot uptown on 8th Ave. btw 133 and 134th. When you get a chance slide thru give my man Carl a shout.




























Quest love of the roots designed some WIKED kicks for NIKE some AF1(air force 1). A friend of mine got a pair in the mail, like manna from heaven. straight foolish black box delicately wrapped paper around these beautifully crafted kicks. the sole isn't the regular rubber sole but a sole covered in either amazon plant green leather or suede or faux suede crocodile print with a Olympic gold stripe. The laces unscrew at the tips. The insole has a little drummer boy scribbled inside. These kicks are definitely the 'Yo son you stepped on my kicks...That is a mandatory beat down" .
